The AAT is the first professional diploma accounting programme offered by the MDI.The programme was introduced in response to an acute shortage of accountants in the Gambia some decades ago. However, the AAT is still one of the most popular accountancy programme in the Gambia.

Eligibility/Admission Criteria: The entry requirement of the AAT programme is five (5) WASSCE credits, including both English language and Mathematics.
